One thing about xiao long bao (anywhere) is that it's really the best immediately after making it and steaming it within a few minutes, so everything works the best if the place is really busy!Allanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651511591359955072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14277482.post-38216715269328885032011-02-21T16:55:37.031+08:002011-02-21T16:55:37.031+08:00Allan - I meant to thank you for the info! My husband preferred the texture and thought they were easier to eat than DTF. Service was pretty terrible but at least the xlb didn't disappoint!Ginnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04127494550555339705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14277482.post-70665702648147914022010-12-13T11:43:11.347+08:002010-12-13T11:43:11.347+08:00Hi Ginny, I don't think Kao Chi has an English...Hi Ginny, I don't think Kao Chi has an English web site, but the Chinese one is here: http://kao-chi.theweb.tw/index.htm As far as I know, they are alive and well!Allanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651511591359955072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14277482.post-13363547499528703772010-12-12T21:43:58.123+08:002010-12-12T21:43:58.123+08:00Is this place still around? It is juicier and more tender. I've only been to the place on FuXing so maybe that's why my experience was different? Also, I've noticed that the quality at Din Tai Fung has started to vary quite a bit. Kao Chi is certainly the new favorite!Allanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651511591359955072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14277482.post-29034441401386454792010-03-17T12:08:04.567+08:002010-03-17T12:08:04.567+08:00wow that does look yummy..
