Le Jardin in Tien Mu across from the Baseball stadium next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi is the best French in town. The owner Andre use to be the general manager at Landis hotel which has an almost equally good french restaurant called Paris 1930.
Both are great and have nice decors. Paris 1930 is very intimate while Le Jardin is more garden Provence.
Both are pricey.

i tried to click on Mamm Goz but it didn't not take me there, instead, it was linked to your other Asian type restaurant page... :-(

First time I've read your blog at length - great stuff, thanks! For French cuisine, I recommend Bistro d'Olivier on Anhe Road Sec. 2 (close to Heping). The food is great, pretty affordable (ranging from $700 set menu to $2300 tasting menu and more), but keep in mind the maitre d' is kind of annoying and treats everyone like they're stupid and have never had French food. Having grown up in Europe & going there with my French boyfriend, we were ooh, just, a leedle bit annoyed with the "this is a French restaurant" intro from him, hahaha. But, the food is good, and le boyfriend agrees.
